THE RECKONING out in mass market paperback!

Trade paperback vs. mass market
THE RECKONING is out in mass market paperback today! And we're celebrating by giving away five copies. You can enter below. Please note that it's only open to the US. (You can still enter if you have a US mailing address.) Ends at midnight ET on April 2nd. Please tell your friends!

For an author, getting the book out in this size and format opens up possibilities to reach new readers, as the book is suddenly available in a bunch of different outlets. Drug stores and grocery stores, additional airport bookstores, anywhere pocket paperbacks are sold. So, if you have friends who rarely stop by a bookstore, you can let them know to keep their eyes open for the book as they're out shopping. (Hint: it makes a great stocking stuffer or, er, addition to an Easter basket.)

As always I'd love to receive a photo of the book if you see it in the wild! You can send it to me at alma @ almakatsu.com and I'll post it on the Facebook page.

Another spring, another Virginia Festival of the Book in Charlottesville.   This state is blessed with numerous book festivals, and this one is one of the best. They feature a wide range of authors and have a wonderfully rich program.

Thursday the 21st at noon, I'll be at the Barnes and Noble, which is outside of the downtown area, at 1035A Emmet St. The panel is "Hauntings" and will feature two other authors, too, Laura Brodie and Brad Bryant, moderated by Trey Mitchell. You can find more information on all the presenters and the venue here.

I'll be bringing a little swag with me--a few of the postcards with covers of the international editions. If you live in the area, please come by and say hello.

Winners!

Congratulations to Lennette (US), Cody (US) and Triston (UK) for winning in the Ides of March book giveaway. We're waiting to hear back from one more winner and will post the name as soon as we can. Thanks to everyone who entered. I hope you'll check out the books featured in the contest.
