Linkapalooza!

The lobby at Simon & Schuster

We’re in full swing promoting The Reckoning, which came out nine days ago—is that all? It feels like an eternity already—and so I thought I’d do another link round-up below. And to share the good news that we had a tremendous first week, not only for the new book but for The Taker as well. Both books soared in the Amazon charts the day of The Reckoning’s release, and preliminary numbers for other outlets are coming in and they’re quite good. So kudos to all of you for your support and for getting the word out!

Speaking of which, we’ve had some great reviews in the fantasy and horror communities. Barnes & Noble’s Unabashedly Bookish blog called it a great blend of historical, romance and horror, and Horror World said it was one of the better reads in the genre in a long while.

In honor of the release, I did guest posts at Tor on modern Gothic and at SUVUDU on the influence of fairy tales on pop culture.

An excerpt from The Reckoning is up at Luxury Reading. More coming; stay tuned.
